Episode 1: High Tea Pimento Cheese
Episode 1 featured a black, oolong loose-leaf tea with notes of lavender, vanilla, caramel and bergamot.
Here's my quick and easy Pimento cheese recipe.
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp grated onion (white)
8 oz. jar of drained pimentos (diced to your liking)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
dash of dried mustard (just one)
dash of Tabasco sauce (two if you're feeling spicy)
1 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese grated
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese grated
1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese grated
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese softened
Mix ingredients together in a bowl. Place in a sealed container and refrigerate for two hours before serving.
