No Resolutions Required

Last night we had a family Zoom call, and before it ended, everyone shared what their 'resolutions' were for 2021. I've never been one for resolutions. It's not because I don't believe in goal setting, but the way my life is set up, shoot, I can't even remember my resolutions by the time February rolls around. I try not to put too much stock into the New Year traditions. I've learned to make life snackable. I've broken my goals down into bite-sized pieces. That keeps me from getting overwhelmed with the master plan, and it keeps me focused on the Master of the plan. I can't say it works for everyone, but it works for me. If you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed by all the grand things you want to see manifest in 2021, think about breaking it down so that you can celebrate the small victories along the way - no resolutions required. Trust God and trust the process, one day at a time. Today, I'm having a salad for lunch. We'll see what dinner has to serve up when we get there.
