Fall is a Time for Love

Now that the season has officially changed, have you guys seen all of these, 'It's Time to Fall in Love' posts? They are everywhere and understandably so. Fall is by far my favorite season. Who wouldn't want to fall in love with the beautiful colors, sunsets, comfortable temps, sweater weather fashion and football in the backdrop?

I'm a romantic, and I get caught up in the beauty that fall brings. There's no better time to be boo'd up, in my opinion. Some of my best love story memories were made in the fall, y'all. But if you're like me and in a season of singlehood, don't let the romance floating around on social media steal your joy. I look at it this way, the time I would be walking around a county fair, strolling through a pumpkin patch or botanical garden has been put on the backburner as we navigate our way through the pandemic and coming flu season. So I wasn't going to be doing that this year anyway. For everything else, fall serves so much beauty, we can appreciate it whether we're boo'd up or not.

Grill out, watch your favorite team from the comfort of your own home, light your favorite candles or take a Sunday drive with the best mood music you can find. Enjoy the freedom in knowing that you are exactly where you're supposed to be and you are more than enough. Yep, go head on and fall in love with yourself. As the leaves melt into bright reds, oranges and golds, consider that as a reminder that seasons bring about new and beautiful things. Just like the seasons, we're constantly changing, our situations are transforming and we are being prepared for what's to come. Happy Fall, Y'all!
